The best learning is engaging and fun. When students have the opportunity to make their literacy learning interactive, their engagement skyrockets. We are requesting supplies that will enrich a variety of student reading and writing experiences. Some items such as clipboards, dry erase boards, and dry erase pockets, allow students to work both independently and collaboratively. Students can practice skills on their own or with a partner. Thanks to the dry erase component, the focus is on getting better, not being perfect. Using table pocket charts and highlighter tape, students can work together to discuss concepts as a group. We look forward to using these materials for a variety of reading, writing, and word study learning opportunities!
