The addition of books that are near , on, and above my students levels of reading will help to stimulate their interest in the content they will be learning. I will be looping with the same students I taught in 4th grade, and they are very eager and excited to have new books that support what they are learning about. By providing new books for students to read in the classroom, they will continually have a hands on way to learn and revisit the new ideas and concepts presented, feeding their excitement for literature. These items are also needed to best meet their needs providing books that meet their reading levels and challenge their thinking.
