My students come to first grade ready to learn. They are an active, bright, and inquisitive group of learners. Some of our best times together are spent learning about how the world works through exploration and inquiry. The excitement about learning in my classroom is contagious, and everyday my students continue to amaze me. The growth in our ten months together is astounding. I watch my students become true readers, writers, mathematicians, and scientists. I am fortunate to teach in a great school. The learning environment is positive, and all members of the school community are committed to helping our students meet their full potential. Despite this commitment the budget to fund classroom materials is extremely limited. Thank you for considering supporting my classroom.
