Having everything organized and accessible to my students at a moments notice means that they will have more time to complete the tasks at hand. The colored pencils will be used during our work period activities to help students be engaged in the topic we are exploring daily, and they will be housed in the craft cabinet being requested. The grouping pencils will help the students quickly see exactly where they should be seated for group collaboration, getting to the fun stuff quicker! Hanging notes visible for students encourages usage of resources and scaffolds for their assignments, such as vivid verbs, or our unit vocabulary. Lastly, organizing our classroom paper in the letter trays encourage students to add some pizzazz to their writing, project, or assignment.
