My students are a diverse group of learners, from a variety of backgrounds and with a myriad of learning styles. What they all have in common is that they are eager to explore the use of functional and meaningful technology to further enhance their classroom experiences. They enjoy visual interactions to help extend their thinking and they are amazingly resourceful when it comes to problem-solving and higher order thinking. We are a rural/suburban community that supports a variety of family dynamics. Some of our students have access to a variety of multimedia sources, and some have very limited access, if at all. My desire is to have all of my students technologically proficient in purposeful and meaningful applications. Whether it is making a movie using "PowToon" or completing a collaborative unit on Google Drive, I believe these resources can help to bring our class together and expand their opportunity to go above and beyond.
