I would like to start off by saying Thank You for taking a moment to read this letter. I am a first year Special Education teacher. I am writing because I am trying my hardest to provide my students with the supplies they need for great achievement but unfortunately, the school does not have the funding to provide my students with the supplies necessary for the education they are entitled to. I have tried my very best to provide as much as I can for my students but sadly, it is not enough. I have gone as far as cutting a hat in half to sew it on my student's headphones to help him with noise cancellation as he is auditory sensitive and it has not helped at all. When things break on my students such as bags, that they carry their things in, I take them home and sew it for them. I use every resource at my disposal to help my students focus on learning because they deserve the very best!
