Majority of my students are African American students who are from a single family homes homes who are being raised by grandparents because their parents are incarcerated or on drugs. I enjoy my students so much that I continue to teach and show them other types of careers and let them know they can achieve anything. My students are visual learners and love to conduct projects. I believe as an educator I should let my students see and use technology everyday because society and the world is technology and global. I would love for my students to experience use of computers daily and as a teacher I believe with a laptop my students could go to places they have never visited and learn how to conduct PowerPoint presentations and make graphs. As an English Language Arts teachers I would like for my students to incorporate writing in their life everyday. I want them to understand correct grammar and not technology talk.
