Our first grade ICT classroom is in need of a makeover. We are a Title 1 school in a low income neighborhood. Unfortunately, we do not have extra money in the budget to help make the classroom feel like a warm, fun, and exciting learning environment. We would love to create a warm and inviting learning environment for our students by adding a meeting area rug, cubbies for our books and supplies, a half-moon meeting table, comfy chairs for our cozy reading corner, and some fresh new bulletin board backing paper. Our goal is create a space children not only feel comfortable in, but look forward to coming to each day.
