As a title 1 coach, I work with over 300 students and 12 teachers. Although I am not in one classroom all day long, I am in and out of of the classrooms on my campus throughout the day. I am able to work one on one, in small groups or whole group teaching with the teachers in grades K-5 and SDC classes. The students at my school primarily come from low socioeconomic homes. We also have a high English Learner population (approx 15%). Many students do not have adequate supplies available at home. Unfortunately our school does not have the most up to date 21st century technology due to lack of funds. Many of our students struggle with basic reading, comprehension and math skills. Support at home is not always available. In order to continue with the CCSS, my students will greatly benefit from any help you can offer.
