We have received the wonderful gift of iPads in our classroom! These will be used during literacy and math instruction to aid in one-on-one direct intervention as well as small group interventions and guided reading/math instruction. Using our iPads will allow us to access multiple subject areas! The use of iPads will allow students to practice new skills, both independently and in an intervention setting. We are ready to learn, but we need headphones first! Students have already been provided sturdy cases to take care of our iPads, but now we need the final piece to be able to put our iPads to use. Headphones will allow students to stay focused and access their own individual learning. I'm so excited to give my kiddos the opportunity to access learning on their own! Students will be able to access online phonemic awareness programs, our supplemental reading program, as well as many math programs. Students will be able to work independently as well as receive the intervention support they need.
