An important part of our daily routine is small groups. Small group time is used to differentiate instruction so each child can learn Phonological skills and Math skills on their own level. Color coordinated seats for small group will help us get to where we need to go all by ourselves. For small group time, the class is broken into two groups where they work with either the teacher or the paraprofessional. If we had colored chairs, I could call each group by the color of the chairs (red/blue group) and the students could get to their tables independently. Not to mention, the colorful chairs will make our class look great.
