I am asking for five bean bag chairs and a classroom area rug. By providing a welcoming and comfortable reading area in our classroom my students will be able to get comfortable and focus on reading a good book. Currently, I find my students trying to lay across plastic chairs or put their heads up against the chairs while trying to read. They are constantly readjusting and moving around while in this library center instead of staying focused and reading. Many of my students share bedrooms with family members so they do not have a quiet comfortable place to read at home. I would like to create that space in our classroom for them.

About my class
