Attending this conference will help me to grow as a professional through workshops and collaboration with other teachers from all across the country. Incorporating the new strategies and teaching techniques from this conference into my classroom can only help to enhance the learning of my students and their overall experience in my classroom. More importantly, I hope that this conference will renew my excitement for this profession that I love. Having taught the same grade and curriculum for a number of years, I often find myself getting caught up in the monotony of doing the same thing over and over. While I do pull in new resources and change things as much as I can, I unfortunately feel that some level of burn out is inevitable. Learning new, exciting techniques from other awesome educators will help to provide me with ways to change up my teaching style.
