When using laptops, the students in first grade have some difficulty using the touch mouse pads that are on the laptops. They have problems clicking and dragging, mostly because their hands are small. This causes errors when they are doing programs or assessments, and causes some children to get discouraged when they tried to chose one answer, but ended up accidentally hitting the wrong thing in the process. Having these mice will be nice! The students will be able to manipulate the computers much easier, and will feel much more at ease during online assessments or other computer activities. There will be no more sad faces telling me they accidentally chose the wrong answer.
