Our county has one of the highest poverty rates in our state. We also live in a very rural area. There are many families in our school district who struggle to provide the basic needs of their families. Extras such as new technology are not a priority for these families. Many of our students struggle with the wide reaching effects of poverty every day. Our school is very dedicated in providing for the well being of every student. Our staff is very dedicated in providing the best education possible for each student. Our students love to learn and have a thirst for knowledge even through the struggles that they face. Coming to school is one of the only ways that many of our students have the opportunity to be introduced to technology.

About my class
