I teach K-6 STEAM at a school were almost 90% of the students have financial needs. In my role, I teach all of the students on my campus, one grade level each day. Many of my students come to school lack many basic necessities. This means, not only are my students coming to school lacking basic necessities, they also have a variety of specific needs that must be met to help them get the best education. Despite this, they love coming to school and look forward to each new learning opportunity with me. I believe that every child has the opportunity to become anything they want and they should have big dreams for themselves. I am working to build a strong foundation for my students so they may reach any goal they set. Creating an organized, hands-on, classroom will allow me to provide the best learning environment and opportunity I can for my students.
