Students need the opportunity to work in a safe, inviting, and engaging classroom. They do need to be able to work successfully in a chair as they continue through their school career. As adults, we find ourselves curled on the couch to finish reading our favorite book, sprawled on the floor writing the last notes on a paper, or standing to assemble the last piece to a presentation. By allowing these students the ability to choose their seating with the wobble stools, floor cushions and lap desks to use during different learning opportunities in the day I am encouraging to focus, feel safe, and work beyond their very best to reach their goals.

About my class
