These Amazon Fire tablets will be an asset to my classroom. Each student will visit a center while I work with small groups. The tablets will allow my students to engage in reading books that are on their individual reading level using multiple apps that our school provides. The headphones that I have selected are very much a necessity. The headphones we currently use are very used and worn. I teach kindergarten students that range from 5 to 6 years old. The current headphones are too large for their little ears, they have a volume control and mute that cause valuable learning time to go to waste because each student tries to adjusting these unnecessary controls on the headphones. I am looking for items that will be simplistic and universal for my classroom. The cases are a necessity that, I think, speaks for itself. I am working with 5 and 6 year-old children and no matter how careful they are... accidents happen! I have selected cases that I believe will be up to the job at hand. They are sturdy and have a kickstand that will allow students to be more hands free when seated on the floor or their table group reading and interacting with the various learning apps that they will be engaged in.
