Using flex seating in the classroom allows my students to feel more comfortable and allows them to be more available for learning. It can be difficult to sit all day in a hard chair, so why not have options for the students who find it difficult to sit still? We all have a special chair or special place we like to work in, so why not have that option in the classroom too? Allowing students to choose from balance balls, wobble chairs or soft seats in my classroom would help them to be more attentive and focused on their learning. Not everyone learns the same way, but it would be beneficial if we had a choice to be able to pick the chair we could do our best learning in!
