My students always love scratch and sniff stickers as rewards and often collect them in their folders or pencil cases.\r\nThis project also got fulfilled just in time for our end of year testing. Each student needs a pair of headphones, but they often break after constant use, so it was wonderful to have fresh pairs that work and have clear sound. \r\nLastly, we were running out of dry erase markers, paper clips, scissors (that aren't too dull!) and plastic clipboards. The last set I had of clipboards were from about 5 years ago when I first started teaching and were beginning to crack.\r\nThank you again so much for your help gathering these supplies. Having enough equipment for everyone has reduced conflicts and helped students have positive social interactions with each other.\r\nInside the classroom, your donation brought us something my class adores: The Spot books! These books have become a comforting favorite during read-aloud time, and my students smile when I pull one out during our SEL time. The holiday Spot books especially have added extra excitement to our seasonal lessons, and students often ask to re-read them on their own.\r\nAnother one of the biggest hits from this project was the Slytherin Harry Potter Squishmallow. Another, I plan to put informational books about animals! Right now, our literacy curriculum is focusing on classifying animals into animal groups such as vertebrates, invertebrates, mammals, reptiles, etc. and the class is so excited to learn more and more. Having a spot where they have all of their needs is a fantastic reference point for them!\r\nThis is just the beginning of my implementation of this project and I am so exciting to see it come to life.
