My Kindergarteners are little pieces of wonders. They are inquisitive, searchers, intelligent, excitable, artistic, learners, and yet they are only 5 years old. They come to class ready to learn what the world has to offer yet most of them haven't ventured outside of California. 15 of my 24 students are below the poverty line. 100% of my students are minorities and I have 5 identified English Language Learners. (2 of which arrived to the country this year) My students attend an urban school in the state of California. We have a great school which offers different and wonderful programs but, many of them are at risk because of lack of funding.
