I am asking for a copy of How to Teach Snapwords High-Frequency Words and a 301 Snapwords® Pocket Chart Card Kit. My kindergarten students need help learning to read. Snapwords are high frequency words or sight words. The more words students know by sight the better they can succeed with reading. Sight words are so important. These words make up a majority of the words in our language. English is a hard language to learn as it is. Giving these words to students at a young age will save them from years of struggling later. Snap words take the abstract words and places them into concrete thinking pictures. They are visual cues instead of just letters on a page. Our class would use these snapword cards as a wholeclass but its main focus would be to help struggling learners become successful readers. We will chant, sing, shout, spell, jump, and write these words to a new beat.
