For this project our needs are very simple- buckets and drum sticks. At this time, we do not have enough materials in our music classroom for all students to participate at one time. The students must take turns which is difficult to do. Students do not receive adequate time to play within our one music class per week. With bucket drumming the students will not only be able to perform music together as a group, but will be afforded the opportunity to create their own music. The ability to create and experience music is so important not only to their education but to each of them individually.

About my class
