My students are primarily of low income families who all receive free lunch. Many of my students are recent immigrants who have not traveled very far outside of their home country and New York. Our schools is a loving, caring community in which we treat each student like family. We teach the students that when they are with us and even as they grow up they will always have a safe place to turn to if they need it. All of our students, even though their situations may be tough they still want to help others in anyway that they can; through bake sales or making holiday cards for American Soldiers they want to do their part. This classroom extension of chromebooks will help the debate team be more ready to compete against some of the top schools in New York City. We lack the technology resources to fully prepare our students to participate in the New York Debate League.
