We are a rural Oregon school with about 80 students in the high school and about 40 students in the middle school - all on the same campus. We struggle with a high level of poverty and our town is somewhat isolated and so many students have never traveled more than 40 miles away from home. One of our major challenges is to expose students to careers, lifestyles, educational pursuits, hobbies and interests outside of their limited local experiences.
