One of the traditional standards in music education is to get students performing alone and with others, as both are important. These ukuleles would be amazing to allow my students to play by themselves and with others. The ukulele seems to have special powers in empowering the desire to perform both as a soloist and in an ensemble. My students will also be able to make amazing music on their own at home. I also love that we will be able to jam together as a class. The students will be able to accompany themselves while singing and this is a special joy in music as it will make my kids feel like a rock star in their own bedroom. With these ukuleles, I will be able to teach my students about so many elements of music: pitch, rhythm, harmony, and expression. It is such a versatile instrument!
