The upcoming school year is full of unknowns at the moment, but what I do know is that I am very eager to meet my new group of 2nd graders! The group of 2nd graders joining me this school year will be the group of students I taught when they were in Kindergarten. I want to have a variety of engaging materials and resources to help make teaching and learning during the distance learning phase enjoyable. With the generous donation of a TPT gift card I will be able to purchase resources that are exciting, interactive, and educational for my future learners. The document camera will help me scaffold my live lessons and provide step by step examples on how to complete assignments. I have high hopes that we will be able to safely unite in the classroom and build strong relationships in person rather behind a computer screen. My classroom as well as many others will be different this school year due to the new policies and procedures set in place, but I know once we're ready to return to school my students and I will gather as a team to make it work. Flexible seating is a need that my students have expressed to me in the past and I would love to welcome my students back to school with a special surprise of various flexible seats! Flexible seating allows young students to lean, rock, wobble, or bounce which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow, and core strength. I have selected a few options to give my students a variety of choices and allow more movement for my students through out the day. Any amount donated will not just support my incoming students, but for future learners to come. Thank you!
