I am so proud of my students. They come to school everyday despite the many challenges they face, including hunger, ill parents, and being homeless. Their tenacity makes me want to try my hardest to educate them to the best of my ability. I know that I am creating a foundation to build the rest of their lives on. My school receives the free breakfast and lunch program. We are able to offer this to all students. What I love about my school is that we are a close knit community. The teachers and parents work together to create a warm and caring environment for our students.
