I have an amazing group of 1st and 2nd graders to share my love of music with. The smiles I see as we create music are priceless. When my students that struggle academically are smiling, having fun learning, and being successful, I am reminded that I have the best job in the world! Our school is located in a smaller district in Texas so funds are limited, especially when it comes to fine arts. With recent cuts in education, there really isn't a music budget to help me provide teaching aids for my students or resources to help me be the best teacher I can be.
