I have created an interactive chalkboard wall in my classroom to help spark interest in writing. Students will use chalkboard markers to jot down ideas, write an interesting quote they have recently read, new vocabulary they come across, and much more ON THE WALL! My hope is to make writing an especially fun subject for my 4th graders. My hope is to encourage the growth and learning of each of my students in the best way possible! My students will benefit from flexible seating by providing several choices and clipboards to sit anywhere they can do their best work. I want my classroom to foster a love of learning and maintain a high level of engagement in my students. Students can choose from pillows, stools, and chairs around the room. We have a decent-sized class library, but we are limited on space. The boxes will allow for storage and organization of the class library and make it easier for students to find a book that is just right for them. The rug will help create an inviting atmosphere in our library corner.
