Math manipulatives for my classroom will allow for students to visualize and conceptually understand the material in math class. Hands-on activities make students more engaged and focused and less likely to disrupt other students. The clear write-on folders allow students to experiment and discuss what they are learning. They can communicate with each other and brainstorm ideas without fear of being wrong, because answers can just be wiped away. Communication and writing in math are keys to future success. Manipulatives help emphasize the vocabulary and deep conceptual understanding of the concepts which leads to self confidence and success in the math classroom. Not only that, they are lots of fun to use!!!
