All of my students thrive on worldly news! They come from low-income families, and sometimes the news they receive at home is skewed. My students need a subscription to TIME magazine so that they can get the real-news in real-time. My class loves to engage in heated conversations about problems and topics covered in the news. I want my students to be able to practice having educated conversations with their peers by using factual information to drive their debates and analysis. TIME magazine will give my students the information they need to create informative connections and realizations. By donating to my students, they will be opened to a whole new world of possibilities and engaging conversations!
