I am requesting manipulatives to help my students visualize concepts, especially in math, social studies, language arts and social emotional education. I haven't been a classroom teacher in seven years! Because of the pandemic and teacher shortage, I am in the classroom teaching a whole new grade! On top of that, I am teaching virtually! However, it is difficult demonstrating certain concepts when the students are not in the classroom with me. Therefore, I would like to acquire some teaching tools to help me be more efficient in teaching and getting my students back on track! I am requesting many magnetic math manipulatives to help students practice math, as this subject is very abstract. Also, since I teach in a dual language program, I am also requesting language resources to help my students grow linguistically as well. I am also requesting some items to teach my students some social emotional skill building to get them through these trying times. Thank you in advance for anything you are willing to contribute. My students and I will appreciate it!
