Aloha! My fabulous fourth graders and I embark on a journey each year - one of new discoveries, challenges that must be overcome, and lessons that last a lifetime. With each day, we become closer as a family, working together to paddle our classroom "canoe" forward. Our class motto is: Our classroom is our canoe. Be your own navigator. Navigation is power. My goal as an educator is to foster a love of learning, a strong growth mindset, and a lasting sense of self-worth and purpose in my students by utilizing effective, rigorous, and student-centered teaching practices. Thank you for supporting my budding learners as they navigate through the 4th grade leg of their life long voyage. We appreciate the opportunity to let us share our vision, our classroom, and our love of learning with you.
