The simple room addition of a new rug can become a great teaching tool in many different areas. It will help with literacy, math and social emotional skills. Students need a place to gather for both large and small group activities throughout the day. They can learn and review letters and numbers. When they are sitting together they can be facing each other. They will learn to take turns, develop listening skills and have discussions. Students love to play games, and with this rug they will be able to play hot potato, musical letters, and jump the numbers, among so many other games. Help my students have access to learning opportunities with this oval ABC/Number rug.
