I am teaching 4th grade to a great group of kids who have just one problem, they hate their desks! My kids want to sit around the room, on the floor, on cushions, and anywhere but their hard seats! We are slowly transforming our classroom to a desk free room! I have many students who prefer to sit around the room with clipboards. They need comfy seats to sit on! My goal is to transform our classroom into a more home like environment with lamps and furniture, homelike touches, and a calming effect. I have struggling students who are thriving not having to sit in hard seats all day! They are asking for more places to sit and more comfy options! #TeachersDeserveMore
