My students are diverse learners who all require different needs in order to succeed. Through the funding of this project, my students will enter an engaging and welcoming classroom that is tailored to their specific needs. As a first year teacher, I want to hit the ground running. Working at a Title 1 school, my students need the bare necessities, lapboards, mailboxes, borders, magnetic charts and dry erase markers, to be the best them they can be. "Forget about your worries and strife, when you have the bare necessities of life." Flexible seating options help create a warm and comfortable environment. If funded, my students will engage with these seats on a daily basis and we will see their academic performance improve as well. The requested materials will be an amazing contribution to our classroom and its environment and my students and I will be beyond grateful for it as well.
