My students love math. They are curious and eager learners, and do best with hands-on learning. It makes me smile to offer them chances to explore, alter, rotate, even solve -- but our materials are limited. Their confidence in math is growing daily and they are proud of the progress they've made. So am I! My school is located in a low income urban area, where many families have little to no resources available at home. I want to provide as rich an environment as possible for my students so that they have the chance to learn and grow.
