Wobble chairs and cushions allow students to get the wiggles out while they are learning without distracting the rest of the class. Sensory learners are able to concentrate better when they can move around but still be seated with their peers in order to engage in collaborative learning. By offering different forms of seating, all students will be able to remain in their desk groups and engage in collaborative learning. Collaboration is one of the hallmarks of 21st century learning and allows our students to be career and college ready. After all, we don't expect adults to sit in their chairs quietly all day, do we?

About my class
