My students live in rural areas and are very interested in sports, farming and hunting. Most of the students at my school receive free or reduced lunch and breakfast. Many of my students live below the poverty line. Since my employment, my school has grown from around 500 students to over 900 since hurricane Katrina. Our school facilities are very nice however we are busting at the seams with new enrollment. Although my school has seen significant growth in the last few years it has managed to maintain the small town charm and new families arrive weekly. My goal for my Preschool class is to have and use the most up-to-date technology. I would love for every child in my class to have daily access to books they are interested in reading and to develop the skills they need to be successful in school and life.
