This is my eighteenth year teaching in a high needs community. My school is located in a high poverty area. I aama currently teaching 3rd grade. This year I have 25 students from a variety of backgrounds. Many of my students come from single parent homes, are being raised by extended family, or are living at the local shelter for abuse and homelessness. They are in great need of any help or support they can get.
