Kindergarten is mostly taught by small group instruction. While one group is learning a new topic, other groups are learning through play in areas such as this hoped-for Lego center. The "Creative" Lego set even comes with cards that give students who are struggling with coming up with their own creations to copy and create! So much playtime is being removed from our classrooms, but I want to encourage and increase learning through playtime. Building with Lego bricks provides so many learning opportunities! Students learn to share with peers, develop fine motor skills, express creativity, and experience STEM-based learning. Thank you for considering supporting our classroom with your donation!
