By providing students individual folders for them to take books on their levels that are custom printed for each student will increase their reading ability. Each student will be provided a new book to practice reading each week based on their needs. Using the whiteboards and magnetic letters to increase writing fluency and spelling abilities will also allow students to build their knowledge. Many of the students struggle to write the most basic of English words. My hope is to increase their ability from less than 20 words to over 100 words. If they can do that they can read half of every piece of written material.
