These cubbies will help my Kindergarten students with their organizational skills and will increase their independence. These skills are necessary for students to gain confidence in their abilities and to produce quality work at school. In Kindergarten students come to school with different skills: some have been to preschool, others have not. They must be taught how to be responsible for their own materials and to be respectful of others' materials. Having these cubbies in the classroom will allow them to do that. It is my hope to create a classroom environment where students can thrive in learning and also be independent while do so.

About my class
