Reading and writing is a lifelong skill that every student must master. Being comfortable to a teenager is VERY important, so I have tried to provide comfortable seating for my students for years. I have found that each student needs a different environment to focus and learn; therefore, providing multiple areas to accomplish this goal is vital. This comfortable seating and supplies requested will impact many students for years to come. Some of my students do not have any comfortable areas in his or her home, so students really learn and focus when a loving environment is presented. Showing students that you care about their well-being assists in their learning of targets or just gives him or her the will to master more standards. Any growth a student achieves is positive. Some of my students have a hard time trusting educators, so I am very passionate about providing my students with basic needs.
