We are learning and growing in Kindergarten! Creating a child centered kindergarten program where basic foundational skills, a sense of community and love of learning is what its all about. Our school is a special gem hidden amongst a low income community where gang activity and societal dysfunction exist. Over half of my students are second language learners - which presents challenges in teaching and most of my students are eligible for free breakfast and lunch. They love to learn and I love teaching them! By creating an inviting and exciting learning environment that will set a positive tone for their learning experiences I will engage and enhance their development, instill a love of learning and broaden their understanding of the world around them.
