My students love knowing what is coming next. They thrive in highly scheduled environments. As such, half of my whiteboard is covered in announcements and information for students. This highly limits my space available to illustrate mathematics. The materials in this project will help me create the message center my students need, while maintaining my instructional space for mathematics instruction. Each class period will be able to have a separate space for them to view upcoming assignments, the schedule for the class period, and other announcements. This will reduce confusion and help my students thrive in math class.
