I recently applied for a grant to purchase 4 new iPads for my classroom to use with online student work portfolios. I won the grant, and I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the iPads. The grant only covers the base cost of the iPads. I need to protect these new gems and have a way to charge them easily, so students and I can feel secure about using them often. I hope this will insure that they will last for many more groups of students over the coming years. I need 4 shock absorbing full cases with straps (so we can move around safely with them,) and a charging station. Students will be using the iPads to video science labs, oral presentations and interviews. They will post videos and photos of their work online in cloud based student portfolios to share with families for years to come. We are so excited to get started!
