I am an eighth grade English Language Arts teacher at Mabry Middle School in Inman, South Carolina. This is my third year at Mabry and my thirteenth year teaching middle school. My class is based around motivating students to develop a love of reading and writing. For some students, it is easy to get started reading, but some students need more help and encouragement. I want to provide an engaging environment and relevant teaching to help form the basis of a positive relationship between students and reading. It is my passion to encourage students to use the skills they gain in my classroom to achieve their own personal goals!
