The virtual reality technology, or VR, that is available now for classrooms, gives students an opportunity like never before, to interact with what they are learning about in a new and exciting way. Previously, students may have looked at pictures of far away places; but now, with VR, students can seemingly be there at those far away places they may never have had a chance to visit! Virtual reality can be used across many subjects, visiting historical landmarks for social studies, investigating oceans for science, or even used to play games for mathematics.
